This kit is jam packed with goodies any paper crafter will love! It’s based around putting together a 6x6 calendar but that’s not set in stone, in fact it would also make a beautiful diary for you to fill out through 2010 with a page for each month. The papers (there are 14 of them all together) have been picked out to work for each month such as the pretty snowflake patterned one for January (from the Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly range) or the lovebirds one for February (from the 3 bugs in a Rug Spread you Wings collection). The papers are supplied stacked so you can see the order they were intended but you can also of course mix and chop them up to work with photos you might want to add to each months page.
To make up the pages of your book there are 12 sheets of kraft coloured cardstock and 2 sheets of chipboard for the covers. To bind the book there is a 2m roll of woodgrain sticky back plastic, to use the same way as book-binding tape. Other embellishments include pretty Kokka linen fabric, Prima dotty blossom, a string of pearl beads and mother of pearl buttons. These can be used to decorate your cover, perhaps using the string of pearls as a handle?
The calendar cards in the kit have a vintage paper look that works with the other vintage style elements throughout.
